Aunty’s Quinoa Recipe

Aloha! We wanted to share with you all a yummy quinoa recipe that has been a snack time success here at Ka Hana Pono & could easily be a meal for lunch or dinner.

– 2 cups Quinoa rinsed & soaked for 30 minutes – after rinse/soak put quinoa in rice cooker or on the stovetop with 4 cups of organic vegetable broth or water – 1/4 cup Braggs Amino Acid (a soy sauce alternative) – 1-2 Tsp Salt (Himalayan) – 5 Tsp Bragg Oranic Sprinkle 24 Herbs and Spices Seasoning – fresh garlic – 2-3 tablespoons Olive Oil – 2 Tsp Pepper

When the quinoa is almost done add in spinach (as much as you want we usually add 8-16 ounces) and 1 can of organic black beans (without the liquid).

You will know that the quinoa is done when all the grains have turned from white to transparent, and the spiral-like germ has separated.
